Welcome!

I am a Lecturer in Digital Media and Society at the University of Sheffield’s Department of Sociological Studies in the UK. I also serve as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Digital Media and Policy and an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Cultural Economy. Previously, I was a SSHRC Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Arts, Culture and Media at University of Toronto, Scarborough.

Broadly speaking, I research the political economies of communication, media policy and regulation, and the Chinese internet. I have also worked on the Canadian Media Concentration Research Project, York Centre of Asia Research and Canadian Spectrum Policy Research Project.
